At Hall Family Dentistry, your oral health is our top concern. We realize, though, that many of our patients have more cosmetic needs and are looking to achieve whiter, straighter, and healthier-looking teeth. Because of this, we proudly conduct a wide variety of top-notch cosmetic procedures right in our office. To ensure outstanding results, we give each patient a free consultation and a customized treatment plan. If you are looking for a smile makeover, look no further.
In-Office Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is consistently one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the United States. While there are lots of at-home whitening treatments available, most patients find that in-office whitening is the safest and most effective way to obtain whiter teeth. Unlike in-home whitening systems, your dentist can safely use higher concentrations of bleaching agents for faster results.
At Hall Family Dentistry, we have carefully selected the Zoom in-office system for our patients. We start with a thorough cleaning, and then put a dental dam in place to protect the gums. Next, we whiten using a full-strength bleaching gel that contains hydrogen peroxide. Our patients follow up their in-office treatment with a custom Zoom take-home tray for maintenance and continued whitening.
Bonding
Repairing a chipped tooth is typically considered a cosmetic procedure, and tooth bonding (or repairing with a composite resin) is another frequently requested treatment. Bonding is ideal for smaller repairs to healthy teeth and uses a plastic-based material that seamlessly matches your natural teeth.
Veneers
For more complicated damage or broken teeth, dental veneers are a terrific option. Using veneers, your dentist can change the color, shape, size, or length of your teeth. We have had great success in repairing teeth that are heavily discolored (often from medication or a root canal treatment), worn down, chipped or broken, or irregularly shaped. Dental veneers can last up to ten years, so they are a great investment for a healthy-looking smile.
To prepare your tooth for a veneer, the dentist will remove some of the enamel and then make an impression of the tooth. The impression will be shipped to an off-site lab to create the veneer, which is then permanently bonded to your tooth. Veneers can be made out of porcelain or a composite resin (similar to the product used for bonding).
Invisalign Straightening System
As many of our adult patients can attest, it’s never too late to straighten your teeth. The Invisalign teeth-straightening system is perfect for adults who may not have received orthodontic care during their younger years. Invisalign uses a series of personalized aligners made from nearly invisible plastic. The aligners gradually shift your teeth into place. As your teeth move, you replace the aligner with a new one – typically every two weeks. Most Invisalign treatments take up to a year to complete. During your free initial consultation, we’ll go over your individual case and discuss desired results, projected length of treatment, and cost so that you can decide whether or not Invisalign is right for you.
Cosmetic Dentistry and Payment Plans at Hall Family Dentistry
To help with the cost of cosmetic procedures, we have partnered with the CareCredit healthcare credit card. This increasingly popular card was created to help patients meet out-of-pocket costs for health and wellness. CareCredit offers special financing with low monthly payments and no upfront costs. It has no-interest payment plans that span six to 24 months, and it also provides long-term financing (up to 60 months) for a fixed monthly fee. Many of our patients have used CareCredit to conveniently finance their cosmetic dental procedures. Check with our office to find out how to apply for this innovative financing approach.
At Hall Family Dentistry, we understand that dental health and appearance are closely connected. We want our patients to look and feel their best.
